Bensalem Police Probe Hit-Run Shopping Center Crash

A woman struck in a hit-and-run crash in the parking lot of the Bensalem Square Shopping Center early Tuesday morning has sparked a police investigation.

The incident occurred on Knights Road sometime before 3 a.m. Tuesday, CBSN Philly reports.

The woman's condition was unknown as of Tuesday afternoon, police told CBSN Philly.

There was visible damage to the windows of an office that belongs to Saint Mary Medical Center. Car parts and an overturned shopping cart were also scattered across the lot, CBSN Philly says.

Authorities also found what seems to be part of a headlight from a Cadillac SRX SUV, CBSN Philly reports.
